C Shed at Victoria Quay, Fremantle, is a historic landmark used throughout the 20th century for unloading cargo and welcoming passengers, including Queen Elizabeth II. Over time, it deteriorated due to wear, termites, and environmental factors.
Fremantle Ports decided to restore C Shed to preserve its heritage and ensure safety. The restoration aimed to maintain its structural integrity and adapt it for modern use, transforming the area into a commercial and retail precinct.
